The SA Group is proud to announce that Enter Air selected the SA EFB solution for their Boeing 737 fleet. The selected solution consists of two mounted ruggedized 10.1” Panasonic FZ-G1 tablets and the SA Control Panel for tablet power and Ethernet.

EASA and FAA Certification of the full solution is provided and installation is in progress. Based on the EASA Part-21J and Part-21G privileges, The SA Group can, as one out of a few suppliers design, manufacture and certify tailored EFB products in house. These values added, limit risk exposure and increases predictability for customer projects. This is in line with the philosophy of the SA Group to provide Turn-Key projects to its valued customers.

The solution provided to Enter Air follows the industry path to introduce COTS tablets in the cockpit while leaning on avionics components for functions to reside in the aircraft for many years.

Christian Eriksson, Sales Manager at SA Technologies – Part of The SA Group, explains:

"The modular EFB solution that we have developed, is a well proven concept appreciated by a range of operators. The flexibility in the SA EFB offering has a positive financial effect on initial investment and future upgrades enabling cost effective EFB projects. With the EASA Part-21J and Part-21G approvals in house we will guarantee a seamless delivery of products and services now and over time."

An electronic flight bag solution benefits any airline or aircraft operator by reducing weight on board, saving time, increasing information/calculation integrity and general operational benefits.

Marcin Kubrak, Flight  Operations Director comments:

"The avionics competence and extensive knowledge The SA Group has in the area of EFB has been proven in preceding Boeing 737 projects. We feel very comfortable in the way we will utilize the tablet based Class II EFB. The utilization of new technology is crucial in optimizing our daily processes, both today and in the future as we continue to expand."

Lars Eriksson, CEO at SA Technologies – Part of The SA Group concludes:

"We are very proud to announce that we have been selected by Enter Air to deliver our Class II EFB for their Boeing 737 fleet. We are happy to add yet another valued customer to our group of EFB operators and look forward to a long term relationship."
