F-35 Program delegates visit Scandinavian Avionics

Joint Program Office (JPO) and Danish Defense Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO) visit Scandinavian Avionics (SA) in Billund.

Last week, representatives from The F-35 JPO and DALO visited a number of companies involved in the Danish F-35 program. SA in Billund had the pleasure of hosting an evening event for the delegation, showing the SA capabilities and discussing the future options in regards to the collaboration between JPO, DALO and Avionics Test Center Denmark. 

The JPO Executive Director Mr. Todd Mellon and Major General Henrik Lundstein, Director New Fighter Program and their team visited the facilities of Terma and SA to explore the technical capabilities and the global sustainment and support infrastructure the two companies can provide to the F-35 program, through the consortium Avionics Test Center Denmark.

Avionics Test Center Denmark

Avionics Test Center Denmark (ATCD) is a consortium formed by Terma and Scandinavian Avionics. The ATCD is developed to provide the European regional maintenance and sustainment capabilities. One of the potential customers is the Danish Airforce and their 27 F-35A Joint Strike Fighters.
