Numerous ADS-B and CVR AML STC's developed by The SA Group

The SA Group announces numerous ADS-B and CVR AML STC’s, as well as single type STC’s, which

are ready and available for purchase.

Scandinavian Avionics Design has recently developed four EASA approved ADS-B AML STC’s covering Part-23 and Part-25 aircraft, – and more are under development. 

ADS-B AML STC’s – Description of contents

  • Part-23 TDR-94D ADS-B AML STC10059536 
    Covering interface to various WAAS GPS sources as UNS series, GPS-4000S and GTN series. 
  •  Part-25 TDR-94D ADS-B AML STC10064226
    Covering interface to various WAAS GPS sources as UNS series, GPS-4000S and GTN series.
  • Part 23 AML STC for MST-67A to MST-70B
    Development is in process. Initially the AML STC will cover WAAS GPS interface to GTN series, UNS series and GPS-4000S. 
  • Part 25 AML STC10068185 for MST-67A to MST-70B
    Currently covering WAAS GPS interface to GTN series, and STC being amended to include UNS series and GPS-4000S.  

For all the ADS-B AML STC’s (covering TDR-94D and MST-67A upgrades) The SA Group are investigating to add interface with Standalone GPS sensors.

AML stc’s for 120 minutes CVR requirement
Scandinavian Avionics Design also recently developed EASA STC’s to assist the mandated Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) 120 minute requirement. The recently developed EASA STC’s were created to support customers requirements for upgrade of their existing CVR installations. 

CVR AML STC’s – Description of contents 

  • Upgrade to Universal Avionics CVR-120A on Part-25 aircraft
    EASA AML certification package 2114956-EO cover upgrade of the existing Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) to Universal Avionics CVR-120A. The upgrade includes CVR-120A, CVR controller and Area Microphone.
  • CVR upgrade to 120min recording on Part-25 and Part-23 aircraft
    EASA AML certification package 2114957-EO and 2114955-EO covering upgrade of the existing Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) to L3 FA2100 for 120 minutes recording.
